GOT QUESTIONS

Let's clear things up.

Everything you want to know about working with me, what I do, and how I make travel actually feel easy — answered honestly, no fluff.

  • I specialize in all-inclusive resorts, ocean and river cruises, Mexico, Europe, and fully customized itineraries. I also plan honeymoons, babymoons, anniversary trips, group travel, celebration travel, and milestone vacations.

I have specific expertise in gluten-free and celiac-safe travel and I'm a Certified Autism Travel Professional, so if you or someone in your group has dietary restrictions or accessibility needs, you're in the right place.

  • I do not take on new Disney or Universal theme park bookings — those trips have a level of complexity that deserves a specialist who lives and breathes that world every single day. I want your trip to be done right, and that means knowing when to refer you elsewhere.

Disney Cruise Line is a different story — I absolutely book those, and they're incredible. If a Disney cruise is on your radar, let's talk.

  • Because my time, expertise, and attention to detail have real value — and the planning fee ensures I can give your trip the focus it deserves from start to finish.

What you're paying for isn't just a booking. It's research, vetting, communications with resorts and cruise lines, a custom pre-travel packet, and someone who actually picks up the phone if something goes sideways. That's not something you get from a booking engine.

Think of it this way: you wouldn't expect a financial advisor or an attorney to work for free. A travel advisor who's worth their salt shouldn't either.

  • Your planning fee covers the full scope of my work on your trip — research, itinerary planning, booking, pre-travel documentation, communication with vendors, and ongoing support leading up to your departure. It's everything behind the scenes that makes your trip seamless.

  • WI handle it the way I wish someone had handled it for me when I was first diagnosed with celiac disease — which is to say, seriously. I don't recommend resorts or cruise lines based on what their website says. I vet them based on real experience, guest feedback, and what I know from personal travel.

Before you travel, your pre-travel packet will include specific dining guidance, questions to ask upon arrival, and who to talk to at the resort or on the ship to make sure your needs are documented and taken seriously.

  • From personal experience and client feedback, my top picks for celiac and gluten-free cruisers are:

Disney Cruise Line — Hands down one of the best in the industry for food allergies. Their culinary team is thorough, communicative, and takes cross-contamination seriously.

Royal Caribbean — Solid gluten-free options across their fleet with good allergy protocols in the main dining room when you communicate needs in advance.

Virgin Voyages — Strong culinary program overall with good flexibility for dietary needs, though communication in advance is key.

No matter which line you sail, I always recommend notifying the cruise line of dietary needs before you board — not after you sit down at dinner the first night. That's what the pre-travel packet is for.

  • Yes. Whether you're dealing with a nut allergy, dairy intolerance, vegan or vegetarian needs, kosher requirements, or something else entirely — I factor dietary needs into every aspect of the trip from resort selection to cruise line choice to excursion planning.

The detail that goes into gluten-free planning is the same detail I apply to any dietary need. You shouldn't have to spend your vacation stressed about what you can eat.

  • Absolutely. Accessibility-aware planning is something I take seriously — and personally. I look at things like room accessibility, resort terrain, excursion physical demands, embarkation and debarkation processes for cruises, and whether the destination itself is realistically navigable for your specific situation.

I'm also a Certified Autism Travel Professional, which means I have formal training in planning travel for neurodivergent travelers and their families — including sensory considerations, predictability, and reducing overwhelm before and during the trip.

Whatever your needs are, tell me upfront. The more I know, the better I can plan.

  • I book ocean and river cruises across a range of lines including Norwegian Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Virgin Voyages, Princess Cruises, Disney Cruise Line, and AmaWaterways, Viking and Celebrity for river cruising.

Each line has its own personality and I'll help you figure out which one actually fits you — not just which one has a sale running.

  • That's exactly the kind of question we sort out on our first call. Ocean cruises are generally better for people who want variety, sea days, and a bigger onboard experience. River cruises are incredible for people who want to be immersed in destinations, prefer a smaller ship, and want a more refined, quieter experience.

Neither is better. They're just different — and the right choice depends entirely on what you want from the trip.

  • We get on a call, I ask you all the right questions, and I actually listen. From there I put together options that make sense for your trip, your budget, and your travel style. Once we nail down the plan, I handle the booking, the details, and the follow-up — and I send you a custom pre-travel packet before you leave so you're fully prepared.

Then you show up and enjoy your vacation. That's it.

  • Yes — every single client gets a custom pre-travel packet. It covers destination-specific tips, safety info, what to expect at check-in, dining guidance, packing suggestions, emergency contacts, and anything else specific to your trip.

Genuinely, please read it. It answers most of the questions people ask me the week before they leave. I put a lot of work into it and it will make your trip so much smoother.

  • You reach out to me. That's the whole point of having an advisor instead of just booking online and hoping for the best. I'm here before, during, and after your trip — and if something needs to be fixed, we fix it together.
